AJRCCM Impact Factor: Now 13.204 – Continues to Rise!

June 21, 2017 at 9:02 am

The American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine’s new impact factor has been released, and it is now 13.204. We would like to thank the editors, authors, reviewers, and readers who have dedicated their time and interest to AJRCCM.

It is also important to note other important metrics such as Eigen Factor, which in many ways is more compelling than the Impact Factor in determining the importance of a scientific journal to the field.  AJRCCM has the highest Eigen Factor score amongst all respiratory journals with a score of 0.098.

Another important metric is Scopus, which just recently released their journal CiteScores* for 2016. AJRCCM scored 5.33, again higher than any other journal in respiratory medicine.

*Note that the CiteScore is similar to impact factor except that it uses a three-year instead of a two-year window and counts all published articles, not just “citable items.”
