The Society’s journals are making significant gains in scientific stature and audience this year. Between January and July, full-text articles that date back to 1987 and were published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine (AJRCCM or “Blue Journal”) received more than 2.8 million downloads at ajrccm.atsjournals.org. During the same time, full-text articles that date back to 1989 and were published in the American Journal of Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology (AJRCMB or “Red Journal”) received more than 440,000 downloads at ajrcmb.atsjournals.org.
