What's New in the AJRCCM

The September 1, 2011 issue of the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine features a concise clinical review by Keith R. Walley, which focuses on the use of venous oxygen saturation to guide therapy. This issue also includes an editorial by Jeremy M. Kahn that links payment to quality and identifies opportunities and challenges for critical care. The editorial is part of the journal’s continuing series on the “Future of Intensive Care Through Health Reform.” Also in this issue, fellows from the University of British Columbia offer their reading recommendations in “Beyond the Blue.”
