Impact Factor Announcement

We are pleased to announce that the Impact Factor (IF) for all three ATS journals rose this year! AJRCCM rose from 15.24 to 16.494, and AJRCMB rose from 3.79 to 4.34. AnnalsATS, which received its first IF last year, rose from 4.006 to 4.026.

As a reminder, in celebration of the AJRCMB's 30th Anniversary, submission fees have been waived for all of 2019!

In 2020, the ATS will launch ATS Scholar, an education-focused, open-access, online-only journal.

 

PAR Lung Disease Week: Scleroderma

June is Scleroderma month! This week, June 23-29, the ATS recognizes "Scleroderma Week at the ATS” as part of its PAR Lung Disease Week series. The ATS will host a webinar in conjunction with PAR partner, the Scleroderma Foundation, entitled, "Treatment for Scleroderma Interstitial Lung Disease.” The webinar will be presented by Kristin Highland, MD, of the Cleveland Clinic.

New Journal Club: Assembly on Pulmonary Infections and Tuberculosis (PI-TB)

The Assembly on Pulmonary Infections and Tuberculosis (PI-TB) will host a webinar to discuss the article “Enrichment of the lung microbiome with oral taxa is associated with lung inflammation of a Th17 phenotype” published in Nature Microbiology.  Benjamin Wu, MD, will present. Bethany Moore, PhD, ATSF, Robert Dickson, MD, and Ian Lewkowich, PhD, will join the discussion.

The journal club will include an interactive Twitter discussion. Follow along or join in by following @ATS_PITB and the hashtag #Th17. The Twitter component will start at the time of the journal club and continue for the following two days.
