Enhancements to the AJRCMB

Starting this month, a new editorial team will take over the American Journal of Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology for the next five years. Join the ATS in welcoming new Editor-in-Chief Paul T. Schumacker, PhD, who will help steer the enhanced operations of the AJRCMB including:

  • Shorter first decisions on manuscripts, and critiques usually within 12 days.
  • An appeals process for authors, typically handled within a few days.
  • More podcasts and highlights appearing on social media.

Call for Nominations: Elizabeth A. Rich Award

The call for nominations is open for the Elizabeth A. Rich, MD, Award. Nominate an outstanding woman to receive this award at the ATS International Conference May 19‒24, 2017, in Washington, DC Candidates should have made significant contributions to pulmonary, critical care, and/or sleep medicine, as well as have leadership and mentorship experience.
