Apply Now: BEAR Cage 2021!

The ATS Drug Device Discovery and Development (DDDD) Committee invites you to apply to the 7th Annual BEAR Cage (Building Education to Advance Research) competition!

The top three submissions will be chosen by the DDDD Committee to pitch their research proposals to a panel of translational science experts representing academia, industry, and governmental sectors in front of a live webinar audience in April 2021, just ahead of the ATS 2021 International Conference.

The panel, with audience participation, will learn about these proposals from each presenter in a unique “shark-tank” learning environment to fuel real-time feedback and propel the strategic thinking required for these novel ideas to become innovations. After each presentation, the live panel and the webinar audience will have time to ask questions before the panel awards one Grand Prize winner a $10,000 prize! Each runner up will receive $2,500 toward their proposal.

Deadline: Jan. 20, 2021

Call for Stories

Since the beginning of the year, ATS members have been caring for patients while simultaneously creating resources for their colleagues to help meet the unprecedented needs associated with the pandemic.

To guide future crisis planning, research pursuits, and critical care protocols, and to connect our members with one another as the fight against COVID-19 continues, we want to hear your story.

Share your story and learn more.
