ATS and Colleagues Urge HHS to Address Issues with Access to Supplemental Oxygen

Last week, the ATS and several other patient and professional organizations sent a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services urging the agency to take action to address problems with patients receiving supplemental oxygen. The letter noted persistent and system-wide problems for patients who rely on supplemental oxygen, particularly those who have high flow needs.

The ATS and our sister organizations hope to engage all stakeholders, including CMS, patients, providers and Congress in a constructive discussion to improve the delivery of supplemental oxygen to patients in the U.S.
