ATS and Partners Hold Capitol Hill Reception to Honor NHLBI 70th Anniversary

On June 28, the ATS and partners from the NHLBI Constituency Group, including the American Lung Association, American Heart Association, COPD Foundation, and Sleep Research Society sponsored a reception on Capitol Hill to honor the NHLBI’s 70th anniversary. The event was hosted by NIH Principal Deputy Director Lawrence Tabak, MD and included remarks from NHLBI Director Gary Gibbons, MD, ATS President-elect James Beck, MD, and Eugene Braunwald, MD, distinguished Hersey Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
