ATS Asks Congress to Provide More COPD Funding at CDC
The ATS joined several other organizations in a letter to Congressional appropriators urging funding for COPD programs at the CDC. The letter, signed by several patient and professional organizations interested in COPD, urged Congress to provide $3 million in funding at the CDC for a competitive grant program for chronic diseases to address disease awareness and prevention.
