House Panel Approves $840 million for VA Research

Also in the House of Representatives, the Military Construction/VA Appropriations Subcommittee passed its version of the fiscal year 2020 appropriations bill and provided $840 million for the VA Medical and Prosthetic Research Program, an increase of 7.8 percent.  The ATS is pleased that the subcommittee adopted our funding recommendation of $840 million.

The bill will next go to the full House Appropriations Committee for consider.  The ATS and our sister organizations will continue to support the VA research program funding provided in the bill.
