February 15, 2017 at 10:28 amThe 2017 ATS Fellowship in Health Equality is designed to support the efforts of senior fellows, junior faculty, and post-doctoral students with research, and clinical and policy endeavors to advance health equality for patients with respiratory disease, critical care illness or injury, and sleep disordered breathing. This fellowship will provide up to $25,000 to support the efforts of the successful candidate from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018. Applications are due by Friday, April 7. Learn more.

ATS 2017 Capitol Hill Day Session
February 15, 2017 at 10:27 amU.S. ATS members have the opportunity to meet with their Congressional delegation to advocate for respiratory health at the ATS 2017 International Conference. Attendees will be briefed on key issues, including research funding, tobacco control, and clean air and the ATS key talking points on each. Members will take a bus from the Washington DC Convention Center to Capitol Hill where they will have scheduled meetings with their members of Congress and staff. Celedón, Raj to Run in 2017 ATS Secretary-Treasurer Election
February 15, 2017 at 10:26 amThe candidates nominated for the 2017 Secretary-Treasurer position are Juan C. Celedón, MD, DrPH, and J. Usha Raj, MD. Voting will take place Wednesday, March 1 through Friday, March 24, with results announced on the ATS website April 1. The choice you make is critical; the successful candidate will not only serve as secretary-treasurer during the 2017‒18 term, but also as president from 2020‒21.
