Center for Career Development- Call for Input

Do you have an idea for an interactive session focused on career development? Has a workshop, talk, or small group discussion relevant to trainees, early, and mid-career professionals been turning in your mind? If so, the Center for Career Development might be the place for you!
The Members in Transition and Training (MITT) Committee is inviting external proposals for the CCD at ATS 2023!

Characteristics of successful proposals include:

  • Content that is timely and relevant to early- or mid-career members and their career development
  • Sessions that are designed to promote interactivity and engagement
  • Events that support the ATS’s broader goals to ensure diversity and inclusion across its programs (e.g., sessions that feature diverse panels and which embrace topics relevant to diversity, equity, and inclusion)
  • Submissions that feature early career members as organizers, speakers, or panelists.

The CCD “call for input” period is now open! Programming decisions will be announced in the fall. Learn more!

The ATS Fellow designation (ATSF) is a mark of distinction that recognizes the accomplishments, dedication, and contributions of ATS members to the Society and the fields of pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine.
ATSF applications are available for individuals who have been an ATS member for five or more of the past 10 years.
We will spotlight ATS Fellows on the ATS website, in member publications, and at the ATS International Conference. Fellows will also receive a certificate.
