2021 Minority Trainee Development Scholarship: Applications Accepted!

The Minority Trainee Development Scholarship is designed to help increase diversity by supporting those from underrepresented minority backgrounds, as defined by the NIH, to attend the ATS 2021 International Conference. Awardees will receive a certificate of achievement, free registration to ATS 2021, and a year of ATS membership. They will also be honored during the ATS 2021 Diversity Forum.

Apply Now! 2021 ATS Fellowship in Health Equality

Apply today for the 2021 ATS Fellowship in Health Equality! This fellowship is designed to support efforts to advance health equality for patients with respiratory disease, critical care illness or injury, and sleep disordered breathing.

While the ATS welcomes proposals in any topic related to improving health equality, the ATS is interested in receiving proposals in areas including:   

  • U.S. Health Insurance and Health Disparities
  • Climate Change and Health Disparities
  • Tobacco and Health Disparities
  • Health Literacy and Health Disparities
  • Migrant Health
  • Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Training Programs and Health Disparities
  • Sleep and Health Disparities
  • Infectious Diseases and Health Disparities

Assembly Updates

Deadline Approaching! Assembly Apprenticeship Programs
Assembly Apprenticeship Programs are designed to provide early-career assembly members with an opportunity to be directly involved in guiding the future of ATS. Under the mentorship of a committee member, apprentices will get a "behind-the-scenes" look at the operations of their assembly.

All 14 ATS assemblies are offering Apprenticeship Programs. Guidelines for the program vary based on the assembly. For more information, contact Nicole Feijoo, assembly programs coordinator.
