ATS, APCCMPD, PEPTDA Forum
The American Thoracic Society, the Association of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Program Directors, and the Pediatric Pulmonology Training Directors Association will present a joint event at the ATS 2017 International Conference for program directors and clinical educators. It will feature discussions on best practices for teaching students, as well as the presentation of the 2017 Innovations in Fellowship Education Award. The event will take place 1‒4 p.m., Saturday, May 20 in the Walter E Washington Convention Center. The forum will be co-chaired by Jennifer McCallister, MD, and Kristin Burkart, MD, MSc. Visa Tips for International Attendees
There are now some extra steps in the U.S. visa waiver system. International attendees should check on the U.S. State Department to learn more about the visa process and the visa waiver program. Please check with the U.S. embassy in your country to determine whether there are any extra steps in the process for your country and any changes in the length of the visa process.
