New! COVID-19 Guidance Document and ATS-CHEST Volunteer Matching Platform
There is little empirical evidence to guide management of COVID‐19. However, with 80,000
new cases being confirmed daily and the rate still increasing, clinicians taking care of patients with COVID‐19 need guidance now. Thus, ATS has released COVID‐19 Interim Guidance on Management Pending Empirical Evidence, from an American Thoracic Society‐led International Task Force.
CHEST and the ATS have also launched a volunteer-hospital matching platform, which seeks to match U.S.-trained, board certified critical care doctors with institutions in need of such expertise nationwide.
