Coding and Billing Quarterly: Special COVID-19 Edition

The ATS Coding & Billing Quarterly newsletter summarizes key information on coding, billing, documentation, and regulation policy changes that are relevant to clinicians in respiratory, critical care, and sleep medicine. The quarterly publication, which is shared with ATS members who practice in the U.S., covers issues such as new CPT and ICD-10-CM codes, changing CPT and ICD-10-CM nomenclature and numbering, regulatory policies, and Medicare coverage of pulmonary patients.

ATS Leadership Thanks Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Yesterday, ATS President James Beck, MD, ATSF, Executive Director Karen Collishaw, MPP, and Chief of Development Michelle Turenne spoke with Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. executives Wolfgang Baiker, MD, PhD, president and CEO of Boehringer Ingelheim, USA, and U.S. Country Managing Director; Thomas Seck, MD, senior vice president of  Medicine & Regulatory Affairs Human Pharma – U.S.;  and  Karen Iannella, vice president, U.S. Communications & Patient Affairs, to thank them for their generous donation of $500,000 to support the ATS COVID-19 Crisis Fund last week.

Dr. Beck expressed his thanks to Boehringer Ingelheim for their help in this time of crisis. “I think there is no way that we could be more grateful for both your support and the timing,” Dr. Beck said. “Thank you for all you’re doing for the ATS and our patients, and we’ll make sure the funds are very well spent in the fight against COVID-19.”

The ATS and Boehringer Ingelheim have been partners for many years, with a shared focus on respiratory research and innovation.

Happening today! Surviving with Sarcoidosis in the Era of Social Distancing
