June Research News Quarterly Now Available!

The ATS Research News Quarterly is a collaboration between the ATS Washington office and the Research Advocacy Committee, chaired by Veena Antony, MD. It features updates and announcements on all of the research programs that the ATS monitors.

The June Research News Quarterly is available now, and features an interview with NIAID Director Anthony Fauci, MD, a report on the NHLBI Lung Division’s 50th anniversary events in Washington, a synopsis of NIEHS’s intramural research programs and more!

 

One Week Left to Apply for ATS Foundation Research Program Grants

Last year, the ATS Foundation awarded 30 grants totaling $1.6 million. The 2019 cycle is open, and 17 unrestricted grants are available, including one grant specific to nurses.

Deadline to submit an LOI is June 17, 2019.

Reminder! Apply to be An ATS Fellow

The ATS is still accepting applications for the third year of the ATS Fellows program - ATSF. The ATS Fellow designation is a mark of distinction that recognizes the accomplishments, dedication, and contributions of ATS members to the Society and the fields of pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine.

If you have been an ATS member for five or more years, consider applying. Applicants must complete an application and submit two letters of reference in addition to a personal statement. Learn more.

ATS 2019 Resources Available

Though ATS 2019 has come to an end, conference resources are available free to conference attendees on the ATS website for up to one year after the conference. You can also view select sessions on the ATS Facebook page.
