The American Thoracic Society is planning the 2023 International Conference as an in-person program in Washington, DC, May 19-24, 2023.
The ATS is seeking input for sessions in all areas of respiratory, critical care and sleep medicine with a clinical, basic science and/or translational focus. Input should be in the form of a session proposal in any of the following types:
- Postgraduate Course (Didactic)
- Postgraduate Course (Skills-Based)
- Scientific Symposium
- Meet the Expert

Call for Papers: ATS Scholar Special Collection on Global Education in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine
ATS Scholar is planning a special themed collection, focusing on education across the world. We are seeking manuscripts focused on education of learners at all levels in health professions education as well as those addressing continuing education.
ATS Scholar invites original research, review articles, innovations, and video submissions for consideration. “View from the Learner” commentaries from trainees are also encouraged. If you have questions regarding a potential submission, please contact Nitin Seam, MD, editor-in-chief.
Submissions are due by June 30, 2022 and should mention the special themed collection at the beginning of the cover letter. Please contact Jen Stinnett with any questions about formatting.

Grant Resource Guide
In an effort to promote grant opportunities to early career investigators, the Members in Transition and Training or MITT Committee has developed a Grant Resource Guide, featuring prominent and timely grant opportunities that directly support predoctoral, postdoctoral, and clinical fellows as well as early career faculty in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.
Reminder: ATS 2022 CME/MOC
CME Certificates of credit for ATS 2022 will be awarded based on the participant attending the activity, completing and submitting an evaluation and attesting to the credits earned. A CME certificate will be available upon successful completion of all three components. You will be able to evaluate and claim CME credit until July 31, 2022. MOC is also available.
