Check out the latest innovations in fellowship education featuring the 2019 top abstracts from Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and Wayne State University/John D. Dingell VA Medical Center!
All pulmonary, critical care, sleep, and allergy fellowship programs were invited to submit abstracts showcasing a novel and innovative best practice. Abstracts were reviewed and ranked by the ATS Training Committee.
NIAID New Innovators Awards
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is offering New Innovator Awards in support of innovative post-doctoral investigators who propose new research with the potential to produce a major impact on broad, important problems in biomedical research.
The purpose of this program is to fund applications proposing bold new ideas from those currently in their post-doctoral training years to provide the opportunity for creative scientists with little to no preliminary data to launch their independent careers earlier.
Applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and in any topic relevant to the mission of NIAID are welcome.

2019 Grover Conference Registration is Now Open
Register now for the 2019 Grover Conference on the “Omics” of Pulmonary Vasculature in Lung Development, Homeostasis, Injury, Repair and Aging. The Grover Conference, which is held on a biennial basis, is the only international meeting in North America that repeatedly focuses on subjects relevant to lung vascular biology and medicine.

Assembly on Allergy, Immunology & Inflammation Announces Journal Club
The next Journal Club (JC) meeting for the Assembly on Allergy, Immunology, and Inflammation (AII) will feature the article, “Adventitial Stromal Cells Define Group 2 Innate Lymphoid Cell Tissue Niches” which appeared in the March 19, 2019 issue of Immunity.
Authors Madelene Dahlgren, PhD, and Ari Molofsky, MD, PhD, will participate in the discussion, as well as Andrew Luster, MD, PhD. Rod Rahimi, MD, PhD, will moderate.
