ATS Meets with PCORI and AHRQ

This week, ATS leadership and staff met with the Directors of two federal research and health quality agencies, the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). The meeting with PCORI was the ATS's first with the agency. ATS leadership and staff gave PCORI Director Joe Selby, M.D., and staff and new AHRQ Director Richard Kronick, M.D., an overview of the ATS organization. The discussion focused on ways that the ATS can collaborate with these agencies to promote respiratory, critical care and sleep research.
