ATS Comments on USPSTF Recommendations on Cessation

This week, the ATS joined other medical and public health groups in a joint letter to U.S. Preventative Services Taskforce regarding their recent report regarding tobacco cessation in adults and pregnant women. The joint comments noted that tobacco cessation methods are most successful when used in combination and that USPSTF recommendation should stress combination therapy to improve cessation programs.
