February 2016
The American Thoracic Society (ATS) is committed to improving health equality throughout the U.S. To this end, the ATS is continuing its support of the ATS Fellowship in Health Equality. This fellowship is designed to support the efforts of senior fellows, junior faculty or post-doctoral students towards the further development of an action plan for ATS in health equality. Such comprehensive action plan needs to take into consideration the opinions and recommendations of academicians, health advocacy groups, private foundations, federal agencies, and policy makers.
The ATS Fellowship in Health Equality will provide up to $25,000 to support the efforts of the successful candidate from July 1, 2016 through June 30 2017. Fellowship applications are due by Monday, April 4, 2016. Click here for more information about the ATS Fellowship in Health Equality or contact Mr. Gary Ewart in the ATS Washington Office. Mr. Ewart can be reached at (gewart@thoracic.org) or via phone at (202 296-9770). Applications can be submitted here.
