ATS Offers Free Coding and Billing Sessions at Annual Meeting

The ATS will be offering two free coding and billing sessions at the ATS International Conference in San Francisco next month.  The two sessions will cover important topics in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep billing.

ATS Coding and Billing – The Basics:  Monday, May 16, 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. PDT
The session is intended for residents, fellows and early career physicians seeking general information on appropriate coding and billing tactics in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine.  This session will provide a brief introduction to the basics of E&M and procedural coding.   Experts in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine will be available to answer questions.

ATS Coding and Billing – Advanced:  Tuesday, May 17, 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. PDT
This session is intended for ATS members with experience in coding, billing and documentation who have specific questions about appropriate coding, billing and documentation issues.  Attendees are encouraged to bring specific coding scenarios for discussion by the panel of experts.

Both sessions will be held at the ATS Clinician Center Learning Lab found in the San Francisco Moscone Center Lobby (West Building, Level 1).
