ATS Conducts Maximal Breathing Test RUC Survey
In March, the ATS and CHEST will participate in a joint RUC survey to collect information on physician time, intensity, and medical decision making to perform Maximum breathing capacity, maximal voluntary ventilation (CPT 94200). Randomly selected ATS members will be contacted by email to participate in this web based survey. Data from the survey will be used to inform the AMA, RUC and CMS on the value of the maximal breathing capacity test.
If you are asked to participate in the survey and are preforming maximal breathing capacity tests, we strongly urge you to take the time to accurately complete the RUC survey.
