ATS Comments on OSHA Beryllium Standard

The ATS recently submitted comments on OSHA’s proposed revisions to the Beryllium Standard for General Industry.  OSHA’s proposed rule maintained the current beryllium exposure standard established during the Obama Administration, but was proposing a number of definition changes and administrative process changes that might make the standard less protective for employees who work with beryllium-containing materials.  The ATS comments urged OSHA to incorporate policies that would preserve the protection offered by the original standard.
