ATS Hosts VA Research Funding Briefing
This week, the ATS co-hosted a congressional briefing on Capitol Hill to highlight the successes and challenges facing the VA medical and prosthetics research program at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Headlining the briefing was Rachel Ramoni, DMD, Sc D, chief researcher and development officer for the program. In her comments, Dr. Ramoni noted the research promise and infrastructure challenges facing the Million Veteran Program genetic database, the infrastructure needs at many VA laboratories and key funding priorities for the VA program.
