ATS Joins Comment Letter on EPA’s Carbon Standards for Power Plants
This week, the ATS joined over a dozen public health and patient organizations to comment on the EPA’s proposed revisions to the carbon emissions standards for new and modified coal and oil-fired power plants. The letter strongly opposes the Trump Administration’s proposal to weaken the current standards and notes that the U.S. is already experiencing the adverse health effects driven by global climate change.
