ATS Opposes EPA’s Proposed Cost/Benefit Rule
This week, the ATS submitted comments to the Environmental Protection Agency opposing the proposed rule that would change how the agency conducts cost/benefit analysis of clean air regulations. The proposed rule would prevent the agency from considering co-benefit pollutant reductions, would adopt policies that exaggerate industry compliance costs and minimize public health benefits, and create additional opportunities for industry to sue the agency to prevent the adoption and implementation of clean air regulations.
