ATS Meets with EPA Administrator Michael Regan To Share Policy Priorities
This week, ATS Member Mary Rice MD participated with a coalition of health and environmental organizations in a meeting with EPA Administer Michael Regan to discuss environmental priorities. In the meeting, organizations thanked Administrator Regan for his initial actions to strike untoward environmental policy developed during the Trump Administration and urged Regan to take bold action to address climate change and clean air. Dr. Rice specifically noted the need to restore the role of science in EPA’s decision-making process, increase the number of air pollution monitors in environmental justice communities and address the human and environmental health effects of wildland fires.
