ATS Accepting Applications for Health Equity Fellowships
The ATS is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 ATS Health Equity Fellowships. The fellowships are designed to support the efforts of senior fellows, junior faculty, and post-doctoral students with research, clinical, and policy endeavors to advance health equality for patients with respiratory disease, critical care illness or injury, and sleep-disordered breathing. To facilitate the advancement of health equality, the ATS will provide financial support as a fellowship to selected candidates.
For the 2022 cycle, there are two fellowships available:
- One open to all areas of pulmonary/critical care and sleep medicine fully funded by the ATS.
- One specific to asthma and COPD fully funded by AstraZeneca LP and administered by the ATS.
The ATS Fellowships in Health Equality will provide up to $50,000 to support the efforts of the successful candidate from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023. Applications are due by March 15, 2022.
